Sweater: Pull&Bear / Jeans: Missguided / Shoes: Adidas / Bag: Zara (Similar)
As the nights draw in closer and the likeliness of ordering a hot chocolate is greater than a ice cold peach lemonade; it's time to start dressing up that little bit warmer as well. It's official, I love sweaters. Yep, there is nothing more easier in the morning than just to throw on a comfy and warm sweater and be on your way. It really is that simple. What's best, they can be teamed with anything. Jeans, sweats, skirts and can even be worn over a cute dress. I'm slightly obsessed with this pastel one from Pull&Bear, I've pretty much only taken it off to be washed. It's just so comfy and easy and the pastel colour is keeping this going through the last off the summer. Another thing I've worn to death is my Adidas Superstars with the gold detailing. I wear sneakers pretty much on a daily basis and I just love how these change up from plain white sneakers. Let's be honest, they're effortlessly cool.
I'm going through a massive love affair at the moment with Pull&Bear. Purse friendly prices and quality pieces all make for an happy Abbi. At the moment they are full of pieces that are just perfect for back to school. Of course, I have more of their sweaters in my wishlist (I'm massively eyeing up that wishlist one, of course!) and you can shop them down below!

Jumper: Pull&Bear
It's only September, but I've already gone crazy for knitwear. There's nothing more I love than on a grey evening relaxing with Netflix, a mug of hot chocolate (with excessive amounts of cream and marshmallows) and snuggly things. This can include, and not limited to, jumpers, blankets, onesies... you name it. If it's soft and guarantees to keep me warm, I've got it!
At the moment I'm slightly obsessed with this knitwear piece from Pull&Bear. It's incredibly soft, not too thick that I over heat indoors and I really quite like the simple sleeve stripes and NY. Kind of reminds me of university. It's simple, cosy and does the job. Shop some more of my knitwear pieces below (includes lots of turtlenecks and fluff!).

Cosy Knitwear

Top: Primark / Skirt: BooHoo / Watch: Michael Kors / Puppy: One's Own
Suede has been a strong Summer piece this year and it's no wonder why it's also a perfect piece for transitioning into Autumn. It's fun yet wonderfully simple and can easily be teamed up with lots of colours. As for me, I like to keep it simple, pairing it with just a white or black top. The a line skirt is one of my favourite skirts cuts; it's so flattering and I love the addition of the popper buttons and pockets on this one. This particular skirt is comfortable, sits nicely just above the hips and the material is so soft.
I've teamed mine with a white bardot top; super simple but again, I love the style of bardot tops and I think they can be so flattering and make a change from just a plain tee. This skirt also looks pretty great with ribbed tops and is going to look amazing teamed with a jumper and some black tights in Winter.

Also, many thanks to Truffles for helping out on this shoot.... she's a real star, I think it's all the fluff!

The Suede Skirt

When it comes to lashes, there's not much to talk about. I wasn't blessed with long, luscious lashes and most mascaras fail to do anything amazing. Until, yes until, I was (as usual) influenced by the many bloggers talking about this one particular product. The TooFaced Better Than Sex Mascara is, whilst pricer that your standard drugstore options, a rather impressive mascara that, and I can officially vouch for this, is worth every penny.
This lifts my lashes with ease and manages to do amazing things with the volume of my lashes. This almost gives off a fake lash appearance which I personally really like and manages to somehow magically gives me the appearance that I have triple the lashes I actually have. This also adds quite a bit of length, which is just so important to me in a mascara. This mascara completely transforms my lashes ridiculous amounts and I find it hard to pick up anything else when doing my makeup.
The final finish isn't exactly the most natural you could go for, but I love it none the less. Dramatic, intense and really makes my lashes stand out. I'm also a sucker for the packaging; metallic pink which manages to have that 'high-end luxury' feel to it that I'm all about. The only thing I would personally change is possibly the name, it's fun and I understand that these kind of names are there to attract attention but this mascara is good enough and it didn't really need it. But regardless, an amazing product and basically, TooFaced, I owe you one!

Stripes are kinda my thing. I know they're my thing because the other day my mother turned around and said, "Abbi, do you really need any more striped tops?" It was a question that really, only had one answer. Yes. But with a bit more of a tight budget recently (I'm saving to buy all of Mickey Mouse's merchandise at that theme park with a castle and mouse in September), I shrugged innocently and stepped away from the cotton striped garment in front of me.

I like casual. I like comfy. Stripes can transform a plain tee-shirt from well... a plain tee-shirt into something a little more chic without too much detail. I may own one too many tee-shirts but one thing my wardrobe was lacking was a midi-dress. I admired all the girls on Instagram who could pull these off and it took me months before I took the plunge. Actually, I really like it. It has the safety that, for me, a mini dress doesn't, it's fitted, which I like and it's perfect for those warmer days where I don't feel particularly comfortable in shorts. What's more, it's so effortlessly chic. A few simple accessories and some Converse and you really are good to go.

Floppy hats are again, effortlessly chic whilst protecting both your head and eyes from the sun. Luckily for those who live in England where Summer doesn't last more than two weeks (and I bet you, you were in school or work for those two weeks...) and the chill of Autumn is soon to be upon us, this is going to look pretty great with a fur gilet and something maroon coloured. September and October can have some harsh sun whilst not being particularly warm, so this kind of garment will be perfect.

I'm decked head to toe in Primark, but you can shop some of my favourite alternatives below:
